VIP Bin Cleaning win
UKTI export award
The hard work and achievements of VIP
Bin Cleaning have been recognised through winning a Passport
to Export (P2E) Award
from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).
They received the Best New Exporter award
for the East of England, from Lord Digby Jones, Minister for
Trade and Investment in a ceremony at Ickworth House.
VIP Bin Cleaning, a franchising company specialising
in cleaning wheelie bins in an environmentally friendly way,
found the Overseas Market Introduction Service (OMIS) of particular
value especially when breaking into the USA market.
Speaking at the event, Lord Digby Jones, said: "I am greatly
impressed by the variety of companies being recognised for
their efforts to compete in the global marketplace. This diversity
of businesses is good for the strength of the region and for
the UK. All have taken on the demands of exporting and all
have benefited from working with Passport to Export. I would
strongly urge others to take up the challenge."
Mark Harvey, Managing Director said: “Winning
the UKTI award gives a clear signal we are on course to succeed
in our plans for International development. This seal of approval
will strengthen the reputation and brand that VIP Bin Cleaning
has already built in our market sector.”
